This could easily become a home away from home, especially with friendly, hands-on owner like Damian Mulconry working the floor. During our visit he was visiting tables and sharing stories with many customers.

The vast menu covers pub fare, along with a section of the menu dedicated to Irish specialties. While the menu is slightly heavy on American favorites, I was ecstatic to see boxties (or, more commonly, boxtys) on the menu.

Boxties are essentially the Irish version of fried potato cakes; at Mulconry's they are folded like an omelet with other ingredients tucked inside. And that all translates into golden goodness.
